Superior weather-tight seal and smooth operation characterize the Horizontal Slider window system. The snap-in track combined with dual-tandem rollers on the sash ensure easy opening and closing.
Single Hung window systems are designed for high energy efficiency and easy maintenance. Heavy-duty sash balances provide durability and fingertip ease of operation.
Performance Features
- Multi-chamber frame combines structural stability with high thermal performance. Sealed air pockets reduce heat and cold transfer to provide greater indoor comfort.
- Fusion-welded frame corners provide strength and durability - water and air leakage is eliminated at the critical corner locations.
- Positive Interlocks and weatherstripping around the perimeter of the sliding sash ensure a firm seal against drafts and reduced heat loss.
- Standard integral nailing flange provides for convenient and energy efficient installation.
- Positive Security Latching System and anti-lift clips protect against forced entry. Optional Nite-Locks provide additional security.
- Interior Jamb Extensions available in vinyl, paint-grade wood and stain-grade wood. For retrofit installations a 3 1/4" box frame is available (4" for Double Slider).
- A Non-glare Fiberglass screen is easily removed and installed from the interior of the home.
